The general flow of activities during the year is as follows;
Mulch is harvested during Autumn, Winter and or early Spring. This serves as the supply for compost making and garden and tree mulch.
Cow manure is harvested at the same time and is used to make compost, which is applied to the garden beds and trees.
The majority of the planting is spring and autumn as the summer heat can be quite intense.
Throughout the year there is harvesting, preserving, weeding, some building or maintenance work. Tasks vary seasonally. In summer work is best completed early morning or late afternoon.
